The Development Of Learning Management Based On Davies’ Approach To Enhance Animation Creation Skills For Second-Year Vocational Certificate Students

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to develop learning management based on Davies’ approach for second-year vocational certificate students to meet the efficiency criteria of 75/75, and 2) to compare animation creation skills of these students, using learning management based on Davies' practical skills approach, against a 75 percent benchmark. The sample group consisted of 24 second-year vocational certificate students specializing in Business Computer, selected through cluster random sample from one classroom. Data collection tools included: 1) four learning management plans based on Davies' approach, designed for second-year vocational certificate students, with each plan lasting 4 hours, and 2) animation creation skill scale. Data analysis was conducted using, mean, standard deviation, and a One sample t-test.     

            The research findings indicated that: 1) the learning management plans based on Davies' approach for enhancing animation creation skills for second-year vocational certificate students had an efficiency score of 81.97/81.94, exceeding the set criterion of 75/75; and 2) students in learning activities based on Davies' approach demonstrated animation creation skills with a mean score significantly above the 75 percent criterion at the .05 level of statistical significance.
