SIKKHA Journal of Education
Aims
The aims are to establish a platform facilitating researchers, academics, professional experts, students, and the general public to publish and exchange academic works and experiences in the field of education. This encompasses research articles and original academic articles, including those initially presented at academic conferences or published in conference proceedings (proceedings) that have undergone recomposition and re-filtering.
Publishing Schedule:
The journal follows a biannual publishing schedule:
Issue 1 (January–June): Published on the website by June 30.
Issue 2 (July–December): Published on the website by December 31.
Article Evaluation:
Before publication, every article undergoes a meticulous screening and quality evaluation process by three experts in the relevant field. Only external experts conduct evaluation of internal articles. The article evaluation employs a double-blind approach where the author remains unaware of the evaluator's identity and vice versa. This rigorous process ensures the publication of high-quality and unbiased content.

Fee for Submitting Articles for Publication:
Sikkha Journal of Education announces changes in the fee collection process for submitting articles for publication. Authors are required to pay a one-time fee after the article successfully passes the template examination. The details are outlined as follows:
The article submission fee is 4,500 baht per article.
Each article will undergo evaluation by three experts from various institutions.
This fee structure will be implemented for articles submitted for consideration starting on October 1, 2023.

Ethical guidelines for publishing Sikkha Journal of Education (Publication Ethics)
Sikkha Journal of Education has established ethical guidelines for those involved in publishing articles as follows:
Duties of Editors
1) Supervise the journal's operations in alignment with its goals and scope, adhering to academic principles, ethics, and the code of conduct outlined in journal management standards. Ensure the maintenance of quality and continuous advancement in the development of the journal management system.
2) Evaluate articles submitted for publication to ensure they align with the goals and scope of the journal. This includes assessing article quality through the screening and quality assessment processes before publication.
3) Maintain confidentiality concerning the authors and evaluators of the articles. Control the evaluation process without disclosing the identities of authors to evaluators and vice versa, implementing a double-blinded approach.
4) Utilize the Akkharawisut program and the "Copy Catch" verification system in the Thai Jo journal management system for Thai articles to check for duplication. For English articles, use standard and reliable programs such as Dupli Checker or Turnitin, ensuring redundancy does not exceed 35 percent. If redundancy exceeds the limit, notify the author of any required corrections before publication.
5) Scrutinize submitted articles to verify if they have been previously published in any other journal. Articles found to have been previously published elsewhere should not be considered for republication.
6) Conduct transparent and verifiable article reviews for publication. Ensure that there is no conflict of interest in the consideration and dissemination of articles by the Division, editors, and related staff.
7) Strictly adhere to the above steps and maintain the standards of the journal. Editorial actions should be based on academic reasons to promote and advance research and academic work, fostering quality and standards.
Duties of Authors:
1) Authors must uphold honesty, avoiding plagiarism by correctly citing others' work in accordance with academic principles. The use of others' work should not exceed 35 percent, and revisions must be made as advised by the editor.
2) The authors must confirm that the article submitted to the Sikkha Journal of Education has not been previously published in any journal or media.
3) Authors should present complete and accurate research results or academic information in alignment with academic principles. Knowledge or findings should be straightforwardly communicated.
4) Authors must adhere to the specified formats and methods for research and academic work outlined by the Sikkha Journal of Education. They should be open to improvement and revision based on recommendations from experts during the article screening process and recommendations from editors.
5) Except when using personal funds, the author must identify the source of funding for the research or study. This is to demonstrate transparency and avoid conflicts of interest in presenting work for publication.
6) Authors should not have personal relationships or acquaintanceships with the administrators or evaluators of articles appearing on the journal's website to prevent potential conflicts of interest.
7) Authors proposing to publish an article must certify that they are the author or participant in the research or academic article.
Duties of Article Reviewers:
1) Article evaluators must assess articles precisely and provide valuable suggestions based on academic principles and reasons. They should consider the importance of the content in contributing to the further development of new knowledge.
2) Reviewers must consider their field of expertise, focusing on evaluating articles that align with their knowledge and expertise. They should avoid evaluating content or fields in which they lack proficiency.
3) Reviewers must conduct their assessments with honesty and morality and maintain confidentiality by not disclosing information about the evaluated article to anyone not involved in the consideration.
4) If evaluators find articles that are not useful or lack positive effects on academic circles, or if they identify instances of plagiarism or duplication similar to the work of others, they should promptly notify the editor.
5) Reviewers must decline to evaluate articles with authors they may have a relationship with or know, ensuring academic independence in the article evaluation process.
