Safety Management of Educational Institution Administrators in the Perception of Teachers in Chakkarat District Schools under Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Education Service Area Office 2

Abstract

The purposes of this research are 1) to study the safety management of educational institution administrators as perceived by teachers in Chakkarat district schools under the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Education Service Area Office 2 and 2) to compare the safety management of educational institution administrators as perceived by teachers, classified by work experience and school size. The sample consisted of 186 teachers in Chakkarat district schools under the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Education Service Area Office 2. They were selected using stratified random sampling and simple random sampling. Data were collected using five-point rating scale questionnaires with an item objective congruence index of 1 and an overall reliability value of 0.96. The statistics used in the research included percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. 

The research results were as follows: 1) Overall, teachers in Chakkarat district schools rated the safety management of educational institution administrators under the Nakhon Ratchasima Primary Education Service Area Office 2 at a high level. Upon examining individual aspects, all were found to be at a high level. The aspect with the highest average value was prevention, followed by suppression. The lowest average aspect was indoctrination. 2) The comparisons revealed significant differences overall in safety management by educational institution administrators, as perceived by teachers with varying work experiences. When considering each aspect, it was found that the safety measures in the aspects of prevention, indoctrination, and suppression were statistically significant differences at the .05 level. The comparisons between the safety management practices of educational institution administrators and the perceptions of teachers across different school sizes revealed significant differences overall. Upon examining each aspect, it was discovered that there were statistically significant differences in the prevention and suppression of safety measures in educational institutions at the .05 level.
