SJSS supports the responsible and transparent use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in manuscript preparation. AI may be used only as a supportive tool and must not replace the author’s original academic contribution, critical thinking, or scholarly responsibility.

Authors may use AI for language editing, grammar improvement, readability enhancement, and preparation of conceptual or illustrative graphics. AI must not be used to generate research findings, datasets, references, or entire manuscripts. AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

If AI tools are used, authors must disclose this in a section titled “Declaration of Generative AI in the Writing Process,” including the name of the AI tool, version (if available), and purpose of use. If no AI tools were used, no disclosure is required.

Authors remain fully responsible for verifying the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all manuscript content, including any AI-assisted material. SJSS reserves the right to request clarification regarding AI use and may take editorial action if policy violations are identified.
