Abstract

This research is a participatory action with an objective to study how the Mephoom Music School, in Bangkok, has been managing during the Covid-19 pandemic. The researcher is also the manager of the school. As Covid-19 continues to spread, the Ministry of Education announced the closure of the school and prohibited physical operations. Therefore the production of “Our Smile” music and video have been conducted digitally through online channels following the instructions of 1) digital transformation, 2) creating a sense of urgency, 3) customer relations management, and 4) POLC during March–July 2020. After the training, we did an appraisal with all 32 students.             The school has been successful in managing the production of “Our Smile” through online channels. Training was conducted via Facebook, Line, Zoom, OBS, Google Form and Google Drive. The satisfaction results indicated 4.7 out of 5, demonstrating that the success of the new training strategy and that the school can still operate even under the closure. After training and online rehearsals, all students are able to perform, which leads to parent satisfaction and confidence in the school even as it remains closed due to the pandemic. An author concluded that online training classes have contributed positively toward the improvement of the school.
