Abstract

       This research aimed to analyze and assess the Bachelor Technology Program in Digital Media Design, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, using the CIPPI evaluation model with five aspects including context, input, process, product, and impact. The samples were current students, graduates, teachers, and the program administrators. The instruments included curriculum analysis, a questionnaire, and an interview. Data analysis was conducted quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitative data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis. The result revealed that the program met the requirements of the Standard Criteria of Undergraduate Programs B.E.2558 (2015) and the National Qualifications Framework for Higher Education B.E. 2552 (2009). The average score of all aspects was high. In terms of context (curriculum planning and current social situation and technology), the mean score was high (x̅ = 3.74, S.D. = 0.82), and its strength was its teachers had qualifications as required. In terms of input (curriculum specification, facilities, and number of teachers), the mean score was high (x̅ = 3.73, S.D. = 0.79); to improve the input, the program was recommended to offer more digital marketing design courses in response to the national labor market and increase the number of teachers and learning facilities. In terms of process (learning management, measurement and assessment, program administration, and cooperative study), the mean score was high (x̅ = 3.82, S.D. = 0.75); the program was recommended to have more learning projects/ activities that could meet the students’ needs. In terms of product (knowledge, teamwork skills, desired characteristics of graduates), the mean score was high (x̅ = 3.95, S.D. = 0.74). It was found that students had knowledge and expertise, delivery skills, and morality. In terms of impact (leadership, application of knowledge, and graduate users’ satisfaction), the mean score was high (x̅ = 3.92, S.D. = 0.71); students could apply the knowledge learned through their study and cooperative study to their future careers and lives creatively.
