Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) To study the perception for the image of the Lanna Studies Institute of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University students; 2) To study expectation for the image of the Lanna Studies Institute of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University students; and 3) To present the management model of Lanna Studies Institute as a cultural learning center at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University. The study indicated that: 1. Chiang Mai Rajabhat University’s students recognize all parts of the image of the Lanna Academy (public relations, administration, exhibitions and architecture appearance of the building), and the overall findings indicate that the evaluation result in high level. 2. The expectations of the Chiang Mai Rajabhat University students in all part of the image of Lanna Studies Institute of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (public relations, administration, exhibition showing and architecture appearance of the building) indicate that the evaluations resulted in a high level of positive attitudes. 3. The management model of Lanna Studies Institute as a cultural learning center of Chiang Mai Rajabhat University. It should be a management of all university’s participatory sectors. The exhibition is designed to create a theme with the continued story for attractively visiting, which from a variety of media and the cultural nice photo-shooting screen. It promotes the Lanna Studies Institute through online selfie photos that will be shared on social media and reach people widely. It low-cost but highly effective. In addition, the Lanna Studies Institute could improve more efficiency with raise knowledge activities. It is an important activity to promote and support learning of the local historical and cultural heritage. This will lead to preserve the cultural heritage and sustainable local history.
