Personnel Development Affecting the Efficiency of Work: a Case Study on Government Service of Phitsanulok Provincial

The purposes of the study were to examine the personal factors, the training development factors, the educational development factors, and the organizational development factors that affected the efficiency of work.
The findings of the study showed that the majority of the samples were women ages 45 years old and older, and most of them held bachelor’s degrees. They worked in the office more than 15 years. Personal factors did not affect the efficiency of work. Educational development factors were not significant to the efficiency of work. However, the training factors and organizational development factors were positively significant to the efficiency of work. The overall personnel development affecting the efficiency of work consisted of training, education, and organizational factors. The highest average score was organizational development factors at 3.32, followed by training factors at 3.27, and the lowest average score was educational factors at 2.39.
