การส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วม

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบ   มีส่วนร่วม วัตถุประสงค์เฉพาะ 1. เพื่อศึกษาบริบทและปัญหาการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่าน ในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา 2. เพื่อดำเนินการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วม 3. เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยแห่งความสำเร็จการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา วิธีดำเนินการวิจัยมี 3 ขั้นตอน ขั้นตอนที่ 1 ขั้นศึกษาบริบทและปัญหาการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา  จากการวิเคราะห์เอกสารและการประชุมแบบไม่เป็นทางการ ผู้ให้ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา ครู นักเรียน  ผู้ปกครองนักเรียน จำนวน 21 คน ขั้นตอนที่ 2 การดำเนินการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา ด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วม ประกอบด้วย 5 ขั้นตอนย่อย ได้แก่ การเตรียมการ การวางแผน การปฏิบัติ การสังเกต การสะท้อนผล รวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยแบบบันทึกและการประชุมผู้เกี่ยวข้อง ขั้นตอนที่ 3  การศึกษาปัจจัยแห่งความสำเร็จการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วม จากการประชุมผู้เกี่ยวข้อง ซึ่งผู้ให้ข้อมูลในขั้นตอนที่ 2 และขั้นตอนที่ 3 ได้แก่ ผู้วิจัย ผู้ร่วมวิจัยและนักพัฒนา รวม 56 คน ผลการวิจัยปรากฏดังนี้ 1) บริบทและปัญหาการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา พบว่า ในด้านครอบครัวเห็นความสำคัญและได้รับความรู้ ร่วมมือส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านกับโรงเรียน ปัญหา ได้แก่ การส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านมีน้อย สภาพครอบครัวไม่เอื้อต่อการอ่าน การร่วมมือขาด การติดตาม ด้านโรงเรียนมีการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่าน ปัญหา ได้แก่ ขาดการมีส่วนร่วม งบประมาณและกิจกรรมมีน้อย ด้านชุมชนและองค์กรต่างๆ มีการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านในที่อ่านหนังสือในชุมชน ปัญหา ได้แก่ การส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านมีน้อย ขาดทรัพยากรสารสนเทศ งบประมาณ และการร่วมมือจากฝ่ายต่างๆ ด้านพฤติกรรมนิสัยรักการอ่านของนักเรียน พบว่ามีต่ำกว่าเกณฑ์ 2) ผลการดำเนินการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วม พบว่า ขั้นเตรียมการ ได้เลือกโรงเรียนบ้านไร่พิทยาคมเป็นพื้นที่วิจัยและเตรียมผู้ร่วมวิจัยบรรลุผลตามกำหนด ขั้นวางแผน ได้กำหนดโครงการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาด้วยการวิจัยเชิงปฏิบัติการแบบมีส่วนร่วม จำนวน 6 กิจกรรม ได้แก่ กิจกรรมสร้างเสริมความรู้และพัฒนาความร่วมมือกับผู้ปกครองนักเรียนส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่าน กิจกรรมพัฒนาการบริการของห้องสมุดด้านสื่อเทคโนโลยีกิจกรรมพัฒนาสภาพกายภาพบรรยากาศห้องสมุดที่เอื้อต่อการเรียนรู้ กิจกรรมส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านด้วยการมีส่วนร่วมจากทุกฝ่าย กิจกรรมส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านในชุมชน กิจกรรมติดตามพัฒนาการพฤติกรรมนิสัยรัก  การอ่านนักเรียน ขั้นปฏิบัติ พบว่า ทุกกิจกรรมมีกระบวนการดำเนินงานตามที่กำหนด ขั้นสังเกต พบว่า ผลการดำเนินงานเป็นไปตามตัวชี้วัดที่กำหนดไว้ในวัตถุประสงค์ ขั้นสะท้อนผล พบว่า ทุกกิจกรรมตอบสนองต่อการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่าน การปฏิบัติงานเป็นไปตามที่กำหนดและการสังเกต พบว่า ผลการดำเนินกิจกรรมบรรลุวัตถุประสงค์ 3) ปัจจัยแห่งความสำเร็จการส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่าน ได้แก่ ความรู้ความเข้าใจของครอบครัว  วิสัยทัศน์และความสามารถการบริหารของผู้บริหารโรงเรียนและการร่วมมือกันจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านแบบทั้งองค์กร การร่วมมือของครอบครัว ชุมชนและองค์กรต่างๆ ส่งเสริมนิสัยรักการอ่านในชุมชน

The Promotion of the Reading Habits in Secondary School by Participatory Action Research

ABSTRACT

The main purpose of this study was to promote the reading habits in secondary school students by participatory action research. The particular purpose of the study is threefold: 1. to study contexts and obstacles of promoting the reading habits in the context of secondary school, 2. to operate the promotion of the reading habits in secondary school using participatory action research, 3. to study critical success factor of the promotion of the reading habits in secondary school. There were 3 steps of this study; 1) the study of contexts and obstacles of promoting the reading habits in the context in secondary school, data were collected by analyzing document and congregating people concerning in researchable area and informal conference. Data gathered was provided by 21 samples of the secondary school principal, teachers, students and parents. 2) The promotion of reading habits in secondary school using participatory action research technique consists of five processes; pre-step process, planning process, acting process, observation process and reflecting process . 3) The study of critical success factor of the promotion of the reading habits in secondary school by using participatory action research. Data gathered in these processes was provided by documents, conference of 56 samples; three sample groups, i.e. the researcher, co-researchers and developers. The results of this study showed that: 1) In parents’ cooperation with school; they cooperated and paid attention to promote reading habits whereas; some problems were occurred; less promoting in the reading habits, lacking of favorable family surroundings, uncontinual losing contact with promoting the reading habits between parents and students. In school; there were the promotion of the reading habits. But, lacking of cooperation and budget were the obstacles of promoting the reading habits. In local community and organization; they also promote the reading habits while the problem was the less promotion in the reading habits and the lacked of information resources and budget from local community and organization. In students’ reading habits; a few reading activities and lower reading habits behavior than specific standard were the obstacles of promoting reading habits. 2) The result of participatory action research, in pre-step process; Banraipitthayakom School was selected for the promotion of the reading habits program. In the planning process, 6 various activities were designed to encourage students reading including Promoting reading habits activity, Development of media and technology service activity, Cooperation development of parents activity, Development of physical characteristics of library activity, Development of library service activity and Follow-up of reading habits activity. After all activities were implemented, achieved through the target behaviors. In reflecting process, all activities responding to promote the reading habit. All acting process were accomplished. 3) The critical success factors of research activities when applying participatory action research as a mean to promote the reading habits in secondary school composed of the understanding in the promotion of the reading habits among families, the vision and efficiency of administration in promoting reading habits, the cooperative roles of conducting the promotion of the reading habits activities from the whole organization and the cooperation between families, local community and other organizations.
