Abstract

ABSTRACT

The purposes of this research were to 1) study the factors which influence the transformational leadership of administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission and 2) develop the model of transformational leadership development of administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission. The samples were 1,420 administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission. Those samples were selected by multi-stage sampling. The instrument used in this study was the rating scale questionnaire with the reliability of 0.98. The data were analyzed by using a statistical analysis software, and LISREL Program as a descriptive form as well as inferential form. The results of the study revealed that 1. The administrators related to the Office of the Basic Education Commission showed their levels in the expression of transformational leadership in the highest level. 2. The factors influencing the transformational leadership of administrators related to the Office of The Basic Education Commission showed their levels in the expression of transformational leadership in the highest level for all of 3 factors including organization atmosphere, emotional intelligence, and organizational commitment. 3. The Algebraic Model of the Construction of Transformational Leadership of the   administrators related to the Office of The Basic Education Commission was congruent with the empirical data as criterion as follows : = 19.88, df = 1.42, GFI = 1.00, AGFI = 0.98, CFI = 1.00, SRMR = 0.005, RMSEA = 0.017, and CN = 2070.52 4. The development model of transformational leadership for administrators related to the Office of The Basic Education Commission was found appropriate and possible by the knowledgeable people. They voted in “the high” level.
