ABSTRACT

 This study aimed to compare the learning achievement of students before and after using the Geogebra program as a learning tool for solving word problems on the three-dimensional geometric figures and volume of rectangular shape for Prathomsuksa 6 students with Polya’s solving steps, compare Mathematics learning achievement of students using the Geogebra program as a learning tool for solving word problems on the three-dimensional geometric figures and volume of rectangular shape for Prathomsuksa 6 students with Polya’s solving steps with 70 percent criteria and study satisfaction after using the Geogebra program as a learning tool for solving word problems on the three-dimensional geometric figures and volume of rectangular shape for Prathomsuksa 6 students with Polya’s solving steps. The instruments employed in this study were 10 lesson plans, 30 itemed achievement test, 15 items of 5 point rating scale questionnaires of students’ satisfaction after learning activities.The research finding were as follows the learning achievement of students after using the Geogebra program as a learning tool for solving word problems on the three-dimensional geometric figures and volume of rectangular shape for Prathomsuksa 6 students with Polya’s solving stepswas higher than before the lessons with the statistical significance at the .05 level, the learning achievement of students after using the Geogebra program as a learning tool for solving word problems on the three-dimensional geometric figures and volume of rectangular shape for Prathomsuksa 6 students with Polya’s solving steps was higher than 70 percent with the statistical significance at the .05 level, and the overall image of the students’ satisfaction towards the use of the Geogebra program as a learning tool for solving word problems on the three-dimensional geometric figures and volume of rectangular shape for Prathomsuksa 6 students with Polya’s solving steps was at a high level.
