Communication Strategy for Community Tourism Promotion at Tannumtip Village for Economic triangle in Three Southern Border Provinces

Abstract

The purpose of this quantitative research was to study the Communication Strategy for Community Tourism Promotion at Tannumtip Village for Economic triangle in Three Southern Border Provinces. The in-depth interviews, group conversations, and field observation were employed. The descriptive analysis was used for data analysis. The results were as follows: 1) communication strategy that can promote the tourism of Than Namthip community to be sustainability was the use of mixed media which consisted of the use of activity media, online media, publication media, and multimedia by considering the ability to send messages to a large number of audiences at a time, the ability of the media to reach the audiences, and the ability to receive feedbacks of the messages. 2) The success in using communication strategy for tourism promotion of Than Namthip community consisted of 3 factors which are personal media factors, participation network factors, and government policy factors.
