The Brand and Packaging Development of Tachang Housewife’s Community Enterprise at Tambol Klongnamlai, Amphur Klonglan, Kamphaeng Phet Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the conditions, the problems, and the needs of the packaging development of Tachang Housewife’s Community Enterprise at Klongnamlai, Klonglan, Kamphaeng Phet Province, 2) to develop the brand and packaging, 3) to study the result after the development, 4) to evaluate the consumer satisfaction of the brand and the packaging. The results had found that 1) the former packaging made from soft plastic, break easily, sloppy, and showed without logo. They would like to change to hard plastic packaging with cap and show their own logo. 2) The development of the packaging has changed to hard plastic jar with gold cap and zip lock plastic bag. The logo is the smile elephant with pink ears and mouth and chef hat. 3) The order amount has increased from 50 to 250 Jar per week or more. The distribution channels are online, telephone and ordinary market. 4) The consumer satisfaction was in highest level in brand and packaging, in moderate level was in the beautifully of brand and packaging, and brand and packaging showed the product characteristic, in order.
