The purposes of the research were to analyze rhythmic patterns of the Mangkla drum and their relationship. The results of the research were as follows; the rhythmic patterns of Mangkla Drum can devide in 3 groups. 1) There were 10 main patterns of the rhythm of the Mangkla drum. To playing these patterns, a single stroke four beating is applied, which is in line with a downbeat of the main rhythm that is most repeatedly played in a song.  2) There were 13 developed patterns that are changes of a proportion in the musical notes, that is, adding 4 bars of melodic phrases. For playing these patterns, ‘Tee Kro’, a syncopation with a single stroke-four beating, was used at the last part of their round in order to play harmoniously with a downbeat of a main rhythm. 3) There were 3 counter-rhythmic patterns. They are played to counter the rhythm of the main drums.
