Main Article Content
Abstract
The qualitative study on “technical college directors' attitudes toward increasing manpower production for workplaces in the Eastern Economic Corridor” aimed to investigate the attitudes of technical college directors on the issue of how to increase the number of students in technical colleges to produce manpower for workplaces in the Eastern Economic Corridor. Purposive sampling was used to select the samples. Interviews were conducted with the directors of Chonburi Technical College, Chachoengsao Technical College, and Rayong
Technical College. The findings raise two issues that must be addressed. First, the public's negative mindset toward vocational education and vocational students must be changed. Second, teachers from technical colleges should be given opportunities to teach in secondary school classes.
