การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบแนวคิดเรื่องความรักระหว่างสามีกับภรรยาในนิทานเวียดนามเรื่อง “นางเติ๊ม-นางก๊าม” และนิทานไทยเรื่อง “นางอุทธรา”

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ บทความวิจัยฉบับนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบแนวคิดเรื่องความรักระหว่างสามีกับภรรยาในเรื่อง “นางเติ๊ม-นางก๊าม” และเรื่อง “นางอุทธรา” โดยใช้วิธีวิจัยจากเอกสาร ผลการวิจัยทำให้ทราบว่า ความรักที่พระราชามีต่อนางเติ๊มในนิทานของเวียดนามกับความรักที่พระยาพรหมทัตต์มีต่อนางอุทธราในนิทานของไทยเกิดขึ้นในลักษณะคล้ายๆ กัน คือ เป็นความซื่อสัตย์ต่อพระชายาแต่เพียงผู้เดียว ทรงเศร้าหมองพระทัยเมื่อคนรักถูกพรากจากไป และทรงไม่ใยดีกับหญิงสาวคนอื่น ขณะที่ความรักที่เศรษฐีกุปปิตตามีต่อนางมิจฉารีเป็นความรักประเภทหลงเสน่ห์ภรรยาน้อยถึงขั้นยินยอมทำตามคำร้องขอของนางทุกประการไม่เว้นแม้กระทั่งการทำร้ายตัวละครเอกจนเสียชีวิต ส่วนความรักที่ตัวละครเอกมีต่อพระสวามีในนิทานทั้ง 2 เรื่องถูกตีความว่า เป็นความจงรักภักดี พวกเธอรักพระสวามีจึงกลับชาติเกิดใหม่เป็นสัตว์และพืชชนิดต่างๆ จนท้ายที่สุดก็ได้ใช้ชีวิตเคียงคู่กับคนรักอย่างมีความสุขตลอดไป

A Comparative Study of the Theme “Love between Husband and his Wife”

in Vietnamese folktale “Tam Cam” and Thai folktale “Nang Uththra”

ABSTRACT The objective of this research article is to compare the Theme “Love between Husband and his Wife” in Vietnamese folktale “Tam Cam” and Thai folktale “Nang Uththra”. Documentary research is the essential methodology of the research. The results show that love between the King and Nang Tam in Vietnamese folktale is the same tolove between Phraya Brahmadatta and Nang Uththra in Thai folktale. That means both the King and Phraya Brahmadatta are honest with only the Queen. They feel sadforthe lovers to pass away and are not interested in other woman. Love between Kuppitta and Nang Michari is to be enchanted by his second wife even if is consentinglyher everything, including to kill the major character. Love between the 2 major characters and their husbands is the same. It means to be loyal to 2 Kings. They love her husbands to reincarnate in the form of fauna and flora and last they can live with the lovers happily forever.
