The Value of Revering Somdej Phra Buddhacãraya’s Amulet

Abstract

It is believed that the amulet is not consciously reminding man who is worshiping it only but also focusing on the foundation of goodness where following the Buddha’s teachings is actualized in order to achieve the highest goal of such worship. This is because the recollection of the Buddha is the development of Buddhãnussatikammaññhãna and Saïghãnussatikammaññhãna by itself. In this respect, the faith in him is actively caused by the reverence of Somdej Phra Buddhacãraya (To Phromrangsi) directly by means of his monastic daily routine and simple ways of life including Buddha’s mantra and other goodness. Historically, it is also said that he held the highest rank of Buddhist monks in the early period of Rattanakosindra which was empirically proven by the history and standing photograph in resulting the widely acceptance of King Rãma the 4th including even King Rãma the 5th, to whom he gave certain knowledge as appeared in the historical archives being retold by many generations. Despite passing 149 years of death, people’s faith in him never ever reclines. Suffice it to say that the value of revering Somdej Phra Buddhacãraya strongly hold the mental value and bodily action whereby the attachment of observation and following the law of Kamma are clearly made. Furthermore, the value gained from constructed materials and Buddhist arts become the Buddhãnussati in which the metal attachment is practiced which is giving rise to the good conduct in act, word and thought while seeing Somdej Phra Buddhacãraya’s amulet respectively.
