Public Policy Network: A Case Study of a Thai Health Promotion Foundation

Abstract
This article aims to study the public policy network with a focus on the case of a health promotion support fund. The emphasis is on examining the operational practices of the health promotion support fund within a three-dimensional public policy network that aligns with the organization's strategy. (1) Health Network: This network is related to health and is diversified and categorized into social sector networks. It involves entities established or supported by the health promotion support fund, both directly and indirectly. Various organizations and agencies associated with health have distinct roles and responsibilities within this network. (2) Academic Network: The academic network is connected to the intellectual aspects and encompasses both socially established and supported networks. This includes social sector networks in the public and private sectors with expertise in policies related to health. Collaboration is fostered with educational institutions and research organizations. (3) Social Network: The social network is associated with societal aspects and is divided into socially established and supported networks, including those in the public and private sectors. This network involves agencies dedicated to developing diverse public policies related to health. Public-sector networks collaborate with specialized agencies, educational institutions, and research organizations.
