Development of a Learning Management System for Supporting the Teaching and Learning by Using Questioning Method

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to (1) develop a learning management system to support the questioning method of learning, (2) validate its efficiency, and (3) study the satisfaction of the developed learning management system. This study was a research and development.  The Black Box Testing method was used to study the efficiency of the developed learning management system. Agreement testing by using the One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. The results revealed that the learning management system that was developed had 4 parts; user management, content management, web board management, and statistics management. The efficiency of the developed learning management system was at the highest level and the experts' agreement had a significant alignment at the level of .05. The functional aspect of the system was evaluated at the highest level. The system was implemented for the 35 students selected by a purposive sampling method at the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology, Phra Nakhon. The results revealed that the students were highly satisfied with the developed system. The highest score was on the functional aspect of the system as well. The distribution of the students’ satisfaction had significant alignment with the system at the significant level of .05.
