The Development of Personnel in the use of Online Student Management Systems in Chian Yai District Non-Formal and Informal Education Center, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province

Abstract

The objectives of this study were: 1) to study the problem; 2) to personnel development; and 3) to assess the development of personnel in the use of online student management systems in the Chian Yai district Non-Formal and Informal Education Center, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. This study was conducted using the action research method introduced by Kemmis and McTaggart. The target group involved 14 personnel, who were selected by purposive sampling. Data were collected by a survey, a test, and a satisfaction questionnaire. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research findings were as follows: 1) The problems with using the online student management system were at a high level in overall; 2) The result of the personnel development by using workshop showed that personnel have more knowledge and understanding in the use of online student management systems as the post-test score was higher than the pre-test score at a significance level of .05; and 3) The evaluation results of personnel development: (1) The knowledge and understanding of using the online student management system was in a highest level in overall, (2) The skills in using the online student management system was in a highest level in overall, and (3) The satisfaction with the development of using the online student management system was in a highest level in overall.
