Food Innovation Promoting Industry of the Future towards Sustainability to Enhance the Ministry of Industry Competitiveness

Abstract

This research aimed to study level of industrial promotion of food innovations of the future towards sustainability in order to increase the Ministry of Industry’s competitiveness and the development guidelines for the promotion of food innovation industries of the future towards sustainability in order to increase the Ministry of Industry’s competitiveness. This research employed mixed-methodology with quantitative and qualitative methodology. The samples used in the quantitative methodology were 400 persons in food-related industries. Accordingly, the data were collected by questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Data were collected by in-depth interviews with key informants, including seven executives in departments related to food industry promotion. The research results were found as follows: the level of industrial promotion of food innovations of the future at a high level and when considering each component, it was found that the consumer behavior was at the highest level followed by consumer demand, consumer attitude, and strategy respectively. Factors related to overall competitiveness found to be at a high level.
