New Competencies for School Administrators Under Ajurisdiction of Secondary Educational Service Area Office

Abstract

The objectives of this research were (1) to create a new competency component for school administrators and (2) to study the results of using the new competency development of school administrators. under the jurisdiction of the Secondary Education Service Area Office, It is integrative research. The actions were as follows: 1) The researcher conducted a study and analyzed the document. and in-depth interviews with experts by the purposive selection of 5 people and questioning 400 people. 2) Confirmed the development of new competency of school administrators by evaluating the accuracy and suitability, and 3) Study the results of using new competency development for school administrators. The experimental data were used in 9 places. Statistics used in data analysis were mean, and standard deviation.


The results of the research revealed that (1) the development of new competencies of school administrators Under the Office of Secondary Education Service Areas, there are 5 components, namely personal characteristics, planners, and self-knowledge. Strategic Executive and creative There are a total of 96 indicators Component 1 Personality 37 Indicators Component 2 Planner 22 Indicators Component 3 Self-awareness 14 Indicators Component 4 Strategic Management 12 Indicators measure and the 5th component, the creator, 11 indicators, where self-knowledge had the highest mean and was at the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.60, SD = .440) under the jurisdiction of the Secondary Education Service Area Office Assessed by the experimenter, it is possible and useful in the overall image was at the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.69, SD = .129) had the highest mean and was at the highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.85, SD= .154).
