Access to Technology for the Elderly in the Digital Age

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to examine the access to technology among older adults in the digital age, focusing on their behavior when using social media services, purposes for using social media, channels used to access social media, locations where social media services were accessed, frequency of use, preferred applications, and selected activities. The study employed a quantitative research approach. The sample consisted of 500 individuals aged 55 and above residing in Bangkok, obtained through convenience sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results indicated that personal factors significantly affected access to technology among older adults at the 0.05 level of statistical significance.
