Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aimed to (1) develop a causal model identifying the factors that affect the performance of college administrators at Praboromarajchanok Institute (PI) and (2) validate the consistency of this causal model with empirical data. This research is a mixed-method approach. In qualitative research, the key informants were seven experts in educational administration regarding the performance of college administrators. The purposive selection method was used. The research instrument was an interview form. Data were analyzed using content analysis. Quantitative research, the sample group was the College Executive Committee and teachers from PI, totaling 460 individuals selected through simple random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Structural equation modeling was employed to test and validate the developed causal model. The findings revealed that (1) the causal model proposed for the factors influencing the performance of college administrators at PI was deemed appropriate, and (2) the validation results verified that this causal model was consistent with the empirical data, showing the following statistical results: X2 = 112.854, df = 98, P-value = 0.145, GFI = 0.975, AGFI = 0.951, RMR = 0.009 และ RMSEA = 0.018.
