บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาศักยภาพในการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยว และศึกษาความต้องการของนักท่องเที่ยวต่อการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวบนพื้นฐานความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพและภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น ตำบลวังน้ำเขียว อำเภอวังน้ำเขียว จังหวัดนครราชสีมา เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสมผสานวิธี เก็บข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพโดยใช้การสัมภาษณ์และการประชุมกลุ่มย่อยกับกลุ่มผู้นำชุมชน หน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และภาคประชาชนที่เกี่ยวข้อง จำนวน 48 คน และเก็บข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณโดยใช้แบบสอบถามกับกลุ่มนักท่องเที่ยวที่เดินทางมาท่องเที่ยวในพื้นที่จำนวน 300 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติพรรณนาเพื่อหาค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานรวมถึงการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ตำบลวังน้ำเขียว อำเภอวังน้ำเขียว จังหวัดนครราชสีมา มีศักยภาพเหมาะแก่การพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวบนพื้นฐานความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพและภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น มีทรัพยากรทางธรรมชาติ วัฒนธรรม ประเพณี วิถีชีวิตและภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นที่มีความสมบูรณ์และหลากหลาย สำหรับความต้องการของนักท่องเที่ยวต่อการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวบนพื้นฐานความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพและภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น ตำบลวังน้ำเขียว อำเภอวังน้ำเขียว จังหวัดนครราชสีมา พบว่านักท่องเที่ยวมีความต้องการปัจจัยด้านการท่องเที่ยวทั้ง 7 ปัจจัย ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุดทุกปัจจัย เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านนักท่องเที่ยวต้องการมากที่สุด คือ ปัจจัยด้านแหล่งท่องเที่ยว รองลงมา คือ ปัจจัยด้านสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก ปัจจัยด้านรายการท่องเที่ยว ปัจจัยด้านกิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยว ปัจจัยด้านการเข้าถึงแหล่งท่องเที่ยว ปัจจัยด้านการบริการเสริม และปัจจัยด้านการจัดการในพื้นที่ตามลำดับ
