The Development of Bicycle Route for Tourism in Chanthaburi Province

Abstract

A purpose of this project is to study route and support for tourists and to study cycling routes tourism in central Chanthaburi in order to propose a guideline for creating a route pattern for cycling in central Chanthaburi. By studying the route, the research team studied the route and various important places in the downtown area which were conducted interviews and collecting data from questionnaires. To study the expectations of tourists by the sample group was 400 tourists. Then, the questionnaire was used to verify the accuracy by finding the consistency index (IOC) and finding the value.  The reliability of the questionnaire from Cronbach's alpha coefficients formula was found. The results from the questionnaire found that most tourists were male, 63.5% were older than 41 years old, accounting for 62.7%. Accounted for 37%, with a monthly income of 20, 001 baht to 30, 000 baht, equivalent to 44. 5%. Needing to use a bike for exercise, representing 21%. 5 The distance that needs to be used for maintenance. The bike is 9.1 kilometers or more, which is 35.4%. The time spent in cycling more than 1 hour is 34.3%. The expectation for bike routes is safety and further expectations. The facility is to require a clear bike channel with an average of 4.69 and 4.53 respectively, and creating a bicycle path pattern. Then, an expert will check the accuracy of the line.  Therefore, the bike has proposed a total of 2 new routes, namely Route 1, starting from the waterfront community, ending at the waterfront community, a distance of 6.6 kilometers and route 2, starting from the waterfront community, ending at the waterfront community. Distance of 10 kilometers, and in this route, there is a change in the route to be different from route 1 so that the traveler has the most route options to spin.
