Abstract

The objective of this research was 1) To develop a Field Experience Manual for the Bachelor of Arts Program in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management; 2) to measure the students’ satisfaction level of using Field Experience Manual of the Bachelor of Arts Program in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. A sample was selected from student of Bachelor of Arts Program in Tourism 96 students with simple random sampling. The research instrument was questionnaire with 1–5 Likert’s scale, reliability equal .684. The data analysis used percentage, standard deviation and analysis of t-test for independent.

            The following are the findings of the research: 1) the Field Experience Manual of Bachelor of Arts Program in the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management collected the field experience process, regulations, other documents and necessary data for fourth-year students into three parts, including: Introduction, Field Experience and Regulations. 2) Students were satisfied with the Field Experience Manual: were at the most level with a mean of 4.55 and a standard deviation of .21. There was no difference between the satisfaction levels of male and female students or in students who had different GPAs.
