การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงวิเคราะห์แบบภาคตัดขวาง เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับสมรรถนะเฉพาะของนักกายภาพบำบัดชุมชนในการดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคหลอดเลือดสมอง โรงพยาบาลชุมชน สังกัดกระทรวงสาธารณสุข กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักกายภาพบำบัดที่ปฏิบัติงานด้านกายภาพบำบัดชุมชนอย่างน้อย 1 ปี และมีประสบการณ์ดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคหลอดเลือดสมองในชุมชน จำนวน 318 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยแบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา สถิติไคสแควร์ และการวิเคราะห์การถดถอยโลจิสติกแบบทวินาม
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า สมรรถนะเฉพาะของนักกายภาพบำบัดชุมชนในการดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคหลอดเลือดสมองอยู่ในระดับสูง เช่นเดียวกับทัศนคติทางวิชาชีพและการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจในงาน ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับสมรรถนะอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ได้แก่ เพศ อายุ ระดับการศึกษา ระดับตำแหน่ง ประสบการณ์ในการปฏิบัติงานกายภาพบำบัดชุมชน ประสบการณ์ดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคหลอดเลือดสมอง ทัศนคติทางวิชาชีพ และการเสริมสร้างพลังอำนาจในงาน ปัจจัยที่สามารถทำนายสมรรถนะ ได้แก่ ทัศนคติทางวิชาชีพด้านความรู้สึก การได้รับข้อมูลข่าวสาร การได้รับทรัพยากร และการได้รับการยกย่องและยอมรับ
ผลการวิจัยเสนอให้สภากายภาพบำบัดมีช่องทางกระจายข้อมูลข่าวสารทางกายภาพบำบัด นโยบายต่างๆ และกระทรวงสาธารณสุขสนับสนุนอุปกรณ์ฟื้นฟู รวมทั้งส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์การทำงานเพื่อพัฒนาสมรรถนะในการปฏิบัติงานให้มีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น
