Risk Management Model of General Education Private Schools in Bangkok Metropolis

Abstract
The Objectives of this research were 1) investigate the risk management performance of the general education private schools in Bangkok Metropolis, 2) develop the risk management models for the general education private schools in Bangkok Metropolis, and 3) assess the possibility of models in risk management of the general education private schools in Bangkok Metropolis. The research methodology was comprised of 3 phases: 1) the investigation of 300 general education private school directors in risk manage performance using the questionnaires, 2) the formation of risk management models synthesized from the questionnaires utilizing Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and focus group discussion with 10 educational specialists, 3) the development of the risk management components employing the suggestions from the 10 educational specialists, and 3) the assessment of the possibility of the model in risk management by inquiring 33 general education private school directors in Bangkok Metropolis.
The research finding were revealed as follows.
1. The risk management performance of the general education private schools in Bangkok Metropolis was at high level in all components ranking in descending order : Risk Management Structure, Risk Management Process, and Risk Management Policy.
2. The risk management model of the general education private schools in Bangkok Metropolis was composed of 3 components: Risk Management Policy, Risk Management Structure, and Risk Management Process. An analysis of the evaluation of the components and indicators of model by experts showed that all item were concordant, suitable and useful.
3. The assessment for the risk management models used in real tasks was found the that the risk management models could practically be used with totally high level. When considered from each side, the components in Risk management Structure and Risk Management Policy possibly got the highest levels respectively in practical practice and Risk Management Process also got the high level in really practical practice.
