The study was conducted by reviewing relevant literature and extracting information to use as a basis for writing this article. The scope of the study consists of 1. Introduction  2. Review  3. Summary of the study results  4. New knowledge gained from the study  5. Suggestions The results of the study found that the important elements of the interview consisted of 9 elements: 1. Researcher  2. Informant  3. Research methods  4. Research tools  5. Research location  6. Research ethics  7. Culture regarding research  8. Research information  9. Expected research results: Interviews can be divided into 3 main types: 1. Unstructured interviews  2. Semi-structured interviews and 3. Structured interviews. The interview method consists of 4 methods: 1. Face-to-face interview method  2. Method of interview using group discussion  3. How to interview by phone  4.
