The Effective to a Program of Promotion of Early Childhood Development in Pathumthani Province

Abstract

The purposes of this quasi experimental research were to study 1) the effective to a program of promotion of early childhood development in Pathumthani Province. The study samples were consisted of 30 parents. Data were collected using the demographic data record form, the knowledge of promotion of early childhood development questionnaire. The content validity index was at .80, and .78 consecutively, the knowledge of promotion of early childhood development which reliability test was conducted using KR 20 was at .75. Descriptive statistics and independent t- test were used for data analysis.

The results of the study showed that 1) the knowledge of promotion of early childhood development before the program were at high level. (Mean = 11.50, S.D. = .75), and after the program were at high level. (Mean = 14.50, S.D. = .50). 2) The knowledge of promotion of early childhood development were at high level after participating in the program were increased from 40% to 93.33%, and the knowledge of promotion of early childhood development before and after participating in the program were statistically significant difference at .05 (t = 4.20, P = .01)
