Expectations and perceptions of Thai tourist towards tourist attractions around Rattanakosin Island

Abstract

                    The purpose of this research is to study expectations and perceptions. of Thai tourists towards tourist attractions around Rattanakosin Island .Questionnaire tools Sample Consisting of 400 Thai tourists. data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation. and Independent Sample t-test, comparison of two or more means (F-test)

                    The study indicated that most of the respondents' personal data were female, aged between 21-30 years, education level, degree, single status, income 15,001-30,000 baht, do not specify occupation and residence in Bangkok.                    As for the expectations of tourist attractions around Rattanakosin Island, it was found that expectations are at a high level. the image of tourist attractions is the most valuable. next is the local way of life and culture. transportation around Rattanakosin Island and other services as for the perception of tourist attractions around Rattanakosin Island, it was found that expectations are at a high level. with the most perceived image of tourist attractions next is the local way of life and culture. other services and transportation around Rattanakosin Island and when comparing tourism expectations with the perception of tourism in tourist attractions around Rattanakosin Island found that there was no difference in the total average score, which indicated that there was no gap between expectations and real perceptions tend to satisfaction.
