Study of Knowledge Management Project for Sustainable Community Strengthening of Community Colleges in the North

Abstract

             The objective of this research were to 1) study the results of knowledge management project for strengthening the sustainable community of community colleges in the northern region. 2) Studying factors affecting the management of knowledge management project for strengthening. Community of the community colleges in the north. 3) Suggestions for the management of the knowledge management project to strengthen the community of the community colleges in the north more appropriate. By using integrated research qualitative research tools used in the research were 1) document research 2) in-depth interviews with 2 key informants, including community organization leaders. Local government leader folk philosopher local knowledge and local leaders, communities, citizens participating in the knowledge management program to strengthen the sustainable community of community colleges. A total of 24 people analyzed the data by analogy, analysis and interpretation for quantitative research. The sample consisted of village headmen, members of the sub-district administration organization. And 320 peoples participating in the knowledge management program to strengthen sustainable communities of community colleges. The tools used for data collection were 5 level scale estimation questionnaire, data analysis using percentage, mean, standard deviation and stepwise multiple regression analysis.

          The results of the research revealed that:

          1) The results of the knowledge management project for strengthening the sustainable community of the community colleges in the north in the overall average of the average level with the highest conservation of local wisdom followed by in creating new knowledge immunization and career-building and income respectively.

          2) Factors affecting the management of the knowledge management project to strengthen the community of the community colleges in the northern region, found that (1) the policy implementation of the community colleges in the north the average is at a medium level. (2) Management factors there is a high level of average and (3) the project management factors of community colleges in the north to implement Have a mean at a medium level.

          3) Policy implementation factors of community colleges in the northern region management factors and the project management factors of the community colleges in the north which are 3 independent variables are important to the outcome of the knowledge management project to strengthen the sustainable community of the community colleges in the north at a high level able to explain the variation of the results of the knowledge management program to enhance the sustainable community of the community colleges in the northern region by 64.9%.    

          4) Knowledge management project management for community strengthening of community colleges in the north. The results of the knowledge management project should be compared to enhance the sustainability of community colleges in all regions of Thailand.
