Factors of Educational Leadership in The New Normal of Basic education Administrators in Bangkok Metropolitan Region

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were to study: 1) factors of educational leadership in the new normal of basic education administrators in Bangkok metropolitan region and 2) regarding the guidelines for development of educational leadership in the new normal of basic education administrators. The research tool was a questionnaire with the reliability of .986 and an interview form were collected data from a sample of 400 samples and interviews with 3 experts. The statistics used for data analysis were confirmatory factor analysis and content analysis.
          The research findings were as follows: 1) Factors of Educational Leadership in The New Normal of Basic education Administrators in Bangkok Metropolitan Region is Networking, Digital literacy and Distributed Leadership, Adaptability Crisis and Change Management, Decision-Making, Health Wellbeing and Equity and Planning and Implementation Human Resources. The data analysis with confirmatory factor analysis, model is consistent to empirically data as the statistic chi-square = 12.490, P = .014, df = 4, CMIN/DF = 3.122, CFI = .997, RMSEA = .073 and 2) regarding the guidelines for the development of educational leadership in the new normal of basic education administrators the network create an open working culture and integrate networks to drive educational development in digital technology capabilities and distribution of leadership Including the distribution of responsibility and decision-making power to help manage the school effectively. The administrators must have the skills to adjust and manage changes in order to be able to operate the school management and the use of technology to help facilitate management and make decisions based on current data, linking big data systems. The administrators focus on personnel development and development of information systems connected to HRMS – OBEC for personal development.
