Learning Achievement Thai Languages Department for Year 3 Students by Cooperative Learning Based on the Philosophy of Jolly Phonics

Abstract

            This paper aims to Learning achievement Thai Languages Department for year 3 students by cooperative learning based on the philosophy of jolly phonics, Standardized criteria efficiency learning achievement pronunciation of final consonant groups for Year 3 Students by cooperative learning based on the philosophy of jolly phonics. The research sample consisted of 20 Year 3 Students at Crescent International School during the 2021 academic year, obtained by cluster sampling. The employed research instruments consisted of 1) 16 learning management plans for teaching pronunciation of final consonant groups by cooperative learning based on the philosophy of jolly phonics, each of which taking 55 minute of instruction. 2) an final consonant groups pronunciation ability test. 3) Video teaching materials to compare the spelling and jolly phonics sounds.
              It revealed that the post-learning pronunciation of final consonant groups by cooperative learning based on the philosophy of jolly phonics ability of Year 3 Students at Crescent International School was significantly higher than their pre-learning counterpart ability at the .05 level.
