A Study for the Development of International Relation Management in Accordance with the Strategic Plan for University of Phayao Development

Abstract

               The objective of this study aimed to investigate the Development of International Relation Management in accordance with the strategic plan for University of Phayao development. The Quantitative data was collected from 34 performants and analyzed using descriptive statistics: percentage, mean and standard deviation meanwhile content analysis was applied for qualitative data.

               The research results were as follows; The result from the questionnaire, the opinion for 3 aspects in overall was at medium level ( x̅= 3.40) when considering in each aspect, it indicated that the internal aspect opinion was at medium level         (x̅ = 3.19) followed by the external aspect was at high level ( x̅= 3.45) and The administration was at high level ( x̅= 3.53) respectively. Meanwhile, the result from the interview, it showed that (1)The internal aspect; The organization still has a strategic plan for international relation administration which was not clear so the vision mission, the goal and the objective for operation of the international relation in section was at a medium level it causes of the process of operation the international relation incomprehensive with the personnel who work the international relation moderate understanding of international relation. (2) The external aspect; To the development of international relation management in accordance with the Strategic Plan for The Development of University of Phayao. In particular, current world events affect the lack of continuity in the field of work. As a result, coordination and cooperation with internal and external agencies were lacking in continuity. As a result, the strategic designation for international development in the organization remains moderate. (3) The administration; Affects the development of international relation management in line with the Development Strategy of University of Phayao. If in the organization the determination of the international strategy is still unclear, the administration of the field is not clear. Internationalization continues to be developed and prepared to promote and support the development of internationalization.
