Educational Leaders’ Competencies to Survive and Thrive in a BANI World

The purposes of this study were to : 1) study the educational leaders’ competencies to survive and thrive in a BANI World; and 2) study the guidelines for developing the educational leaders’ competencies to survive and thrive in a BANI World. This documentary research was conducted by researching information from textbooks, books, academic articles , related academic documents, research and theses from internet . The results found that (1) the educational leaders’ competencies to survive and thrive in a BANI world were 10 competencies as follows : 1. problem solving and strategy 2. working with people 3. emotional Intelligence (EQ) 4. leadership 5. Innovation and creativity 6. learning and development 7. self-Care 8.technology 9. competency-based learning management and holistic assessment 10. foreign language skills ; (2). the guidelines for developing the educational leaders’ competencies to survive and thrive in a BANI World were 11 guidelines as follows: 1. one-to-one coaching and feedback 2. intercultural training 3.communication skills training 4.scienario training 5. job rotation 6. on the job training 7. simulation 8. rewarding innovation 9. job assignment 10. leadership development program 11. personal development planning .
