วัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาสมรรถนะของผู้นำทางการศึกษาเพื่อการอยู่รอดและเติบโตในยุค BANI World 2) ศึกษาแนวทางพัฒนาสมรรถนะของผู้นำทางการศึกษาเพื่อการอยู่รอดและเติบโตในยุค BANI World การวิจัยเอกสารนี้ศึกษาจาก ตำรา หนังสือ บทความ งานวิจัย วิทยานิพนธ์ และเอกสารอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ที่มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวข้องกับสมรรถนะของผู้นำทางการศึกษาเพื่อการอยู่รอดและเติบโตในยุค BANI World และที่เกี่ยวข้องทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) สมรรถนะของผู้นำทางการศึกษาเพื่อการอยู่รอดและเติบโตในยุค BANI World ได้แก่ (1) การแก้ปัญหาและการใช้กลยุทธ์ (2)การทำงานกับคน (3) ความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ (4) ภาวะผู้นำ (5) การดูแลตนเอง (6) การเรียนรู้และการพัฒนา (7) เทคโนโลยี (8) นวัตกรรมและการสร้างสรรค์ (9) การจัดการเรียนรู้ฐานสมรรถนะและการวัดประเมินผลแบบองค์รวม (10) ทักษะภาษาต่างประเทศ และ2) แนวทางพัฒนาสมรรถนะของผู้นำทางการศึกษาเพื่อการอยู่รอดและเติบโตในยุค BANI World ได้แก่ การสอนงานแบบตัวต่อตัวและให้ข้อเสนอแนะ การฝึกอบรมเรียนรู้การอยู่ร่วมกัน การฝึกอบรมทักษะการสื่อสาร การฝึกวางแผนสถานการณ์โดยใช้โครงเรื่องจากแนวโน้มในปัจจุบันและความไม่แน่นอนในอนาคต การสับเปลี่ยนหมุนเวียนงาน การฝึกปฏิบัติงานในสถานการณ์จริง การฝึกปฏิบัติงานในสถานกาณ์จำลอง นวัตกรรมการให้รางวัล การมอบหมายงานให้ทำ การจัดหลักสูตรพัฒนาภาวะผู้นำ การจัดทำแผนพัฒนาตนเอง
