Developing a participatory management model aimed at creating careers and employment in accordance with His Majesty King Rama X's educational policy on employment and careers for students at Ban Huai Bong School, Phayao Primary Educational Service Area Office 1.

Abstract

          The main objective of this research is to develop a participatory management model aimed at promoting careers and employment in accordance with the Royal Initiative on Education of His Majesty King Rama X, focusing on employment and careers for students at Ban Hoai Bong School, under the Phayao Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The specific objectives are: 1. To study the current situation, context, readiness, and the level of participatory needs aimed at promoting careers and employment according to the Royal Initiative on Education of King Rama X for students at Ban Hoai Bong School. 2. To develop and assess the quality of the participatory management model and its implementation manual for promoting careers and employment as per the Royal Initiative. 3. To implement          a trial use of the participatory management model and its manual at Ban Hoai Bong School. 4. To evaluate     the outcomes of the trial use of the participatory management model and manual. This research is conducted as a Research and Development (R&D) project. The research process is divided into four phases: Phase              1: Study of the current situation, context, readiness, and participatory needs. Phase 2: Development and quality assessment of the participatory management model and its manual. Phase 3: Trial use of the participatory management model and manual. Phase 4: Evaluation of the trial use of the participatory management model and manual.

Research findings are as follows:
1.  The current situation, context, and readiness for participatory management aimed at promoting careers and employment for students at Ban Hoai Bong School were found to be at a high level overall and across each aspect.
2.   The participatory management model developed for promoting careers and employment according to the Royal Initiative is named the “PO - KITDEE Model”. It consists of eight components: Principle (Principles of the model), Objective (Objectives of the model), Knowledge (Core knowledge), Integration (Integration process), Teamwork (Working group), Design and Development, E-commerce (Digital marketing), Evaluation (Assessment and evaluation). The model’s accuracy, suitability, feasibility, and usefulness were rated at the highest level overall.
3.   The trial use of the participatory management model and its manual, aimed at promoting careers and employment in accordance with the Royal Initiative on Education of His Majesty King Rama X for students at Ban Hoai Bong School, under the Phayao Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, found that the evaluation of the desired attributes of the students’ herbal inhaler products, as assessed by stakeholders and consumer groups, was rated at the highest overall level.
4.   The evaluation of the trial use of the participatory management model and its manual, aimed at promoting careers and employment in accordance with the Royal Initiative on Education of His Majesty King Rama X for students at Ban Hoai Bong School, under the Phayao Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, found that community leaders, administrators, education quality development committee members, teachers, students, and parents demonstrated higher levels of participation, both overall and in specific areas, compared to before the trial. Overall participation was rated at the highest level.
