Guidelines for Developing a Participatory Safety Management Approach at Anubanmaesai(Saisinlapasat) School Under the Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract

This independent study aims to 1. Examine the current state of safety management at Anubanmaesai(Saisinlapasat) School under the Office of Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area 3. 2.Identify best practices for safety management in educational institutions. 3. Propose safety management guidelines for Anubanmaesai(Saisinlapasat) School using participatory management principles. The tools used for this study included questionnaires and interviews. The key findings are as follows
       1. The overall condition of participatory safety management at Maesai Kindergarten School (Liberal Arts Program), under the Chiang Rai Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, was found to be at a high level.
       2. Best practices in school safety management revealed a participatory approach, with the establishment of a safety committee comprising representatives from all relevant sectors to jointly set policies and safety objectives. Comprehensive and transparent measures were implemented across four key areas, with regular evaluations of safety operations.
       3. The proposed participatory safety management approach focuses on preventing violence, accidents, rights violations, and physical and mental health issues through the involvement of teachers, students, parents, and the community at every stage of the management process to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
