Specific Conditionality Ethics

Abstract

Ethics is a philosophical concept that answers the question of what should be done, what should not be done, how should we live and ethical judgment or what do we use to judge right and wrong? The purpose of this article is to present the Idappaccayatā which is a concept that is taken from the Paṭiccasamuppāda which is an important principle in Buddhism to propose a preliminary consideration for creating an ethical viewpoint from the perspective view of the Idappaccayatā. This view is called Idappaccayatā -Ethics (specific conditionality ethics) by considering the three main issues: (1) Metaethics to propose the status of ethical and to consider whether and how we can define good, evil, right and wrong. (2) Normative ethics to offer answers about the ultimate goals of life and ethical judgment criteria on the basis of the principles of Idappaccayatā, (3) Applied ethics to propose how to apply Idappaccayatā -Ethics to ethical problems to solve current ethical problems.
