Guidelines for Environmental Management Education for Sustainable Development of Schools under under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area office 1

Abstract

The aims of this research were to study the states, problems and Guidelines for Environmental Management Education for Sustainable Development of Schools under Pathum Thani Primary  Educational  Service  Area  office  1. Using Mixed- methods research approach. Step 1 Quantitative method by using the sample of the study were 80 academic teachers.The research instrument was a 5-rating scaled questionnaire.The research instruments were a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation. Step 2 Qualitative method by using interviews with 9 experts. The data were content analysis and descriptive.

The research results were as follows :  1) The overall of states at the high level 2) The problems at the high level such as participation and network for the Environmental Management Education for Sustainable Development 3)Guidelines for Environmental Management Education for Sustainable Development of Schools such as the curriculum development and teaching on Sufficiency Economy Philosophy approach and Environmental Education consciousness promoting.
