As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text in English is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Guidelines for Manuscript Preparation

1. Authors must clearly specify the type of article, as follows:

         1.1 Research Article

         1.2 Academic Article

         1.3 Reviewed Article

         1.4 Book Review

2.  Research and academic articles should be 15–20 A4 pages in length (excluding figures and tables). Review articles and book reviews should be 5–10 A4 pages.

3. Thai articles: TH Sarabun PSK Size 16.    English articles: Times New Roman  Size 12. Page margins must be set as follows:  - Top: 1.25 inches (3.17 cm)
- Bottom: 1 inch (2.54 cm)
- Left: 1.25 inches (3.17 cm)
- Right: 1 inch (2.54 cm)
- Line spacing: Single

4. Article Components: Title, Author (s), Abstract, Keywords,Content: - Research Article: Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Findings, Discussion, Research Recommendations

Formatting Requirements
4.1 Title: The title should be centered, bold, and set in 18-point font size.
4.2 Author(s): The author’s name(s) should be aligned to the right, in regular typeface, and 16-point font size.
4.3 Abstract: The word “Abstract” should be centered, bold, and 16-point font size.
4.4 Introduction, Main Content, and Conclusion: These sections should be aligned to the left, bold, and in 16-point font size.
4.5 References: The word “References” should be centered, bold, and 16-point font size.

5. Author Information
Authors must provide their full names in both Thai and English. Academic titles and honorifics (e.g., Dr., Asst. Prof.) should not be included.

6. Bilingual Components
The title, abstract, and keywords must be written in both Thai and English. Keywords should consist of 3 to 5 terms in each language, with equivalent meaning.

7. Abstract Length
The abstract must be written as a single paragraph, and should not exceed 250 words.

8. Citation Format
Manuscripts must adhere to the APA citation style (6th Edition), which includes both in-text citations and a complete list of references at the end of the manuscript. This applies to sources in both Thai and English.

Publication Ethics
Authors are expected to comply with ethical standards in academic publishing. This includes honesty in data presentation, proper citation of sources, avoiding plagiarism, and disclosing any potential conflicts of interest.

        The Journal of Political and Social Agenda, published by the Faculty of Political Science, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, serves as a scholarly platform for disseminating academic works in the fields of political science, governance, international relations, public policy, local administration, public administration, political communication, ethnic politics, political anthropology, political sociology, conflict studies, peace studies, and other relevant topics in the social sciences. The journal upholds strict publication ethics in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The ethical guidelines cover the following areas:

Roles and Responsibilities of Authors

  1. Authors must certify that the submitted manuscript is an original work that has not been previously published in any journal and is not under consideration elsewhere. If the content is similar to other works by the author, a clear justification for additional publication must be provided.

  2. All individuals listed as authors must have significantly contributed to the research and the writing of the manuscript.

  3. Authors must not plagiarize or improperly use the work of others. Any use of external sources must be properly cited within the manuscript and included in the reference list following the journal's citation guidelines.

  4. Authors must clearly disclose the sources of any funding received for conducting or publishing the research in the acknowledgment section (if applicable).

  5. If the manuscript is part of a thesis or research project, this must be explicitly stated.

  6. The manuscript must be prepared in full compliance with the "Author Guidelines" provided by the journal.

  7. Upon acceptance for publication, authors agree to transfer the copyright of their article to the Journal of Political and Social Agenda, Faculty of Political Science, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus.

Roles and Responsibilities of Editors

  1. Editors are responsible for conducting an initial review of submitted manuscripts in collaboration with the editorial team, ensuring they meet the journal's submission requirements, and making decisions free from personal bias.

  2. Editors must ensure the quality of published articles by assigning at least three qualified peer reviewers. They must evaluate the manuscript based on its structure, relevance, timeliness, theoretical framework, academic contribution, originality, and accuracy of references.

  3. Editors must avoid any conflict of interest with manuscript authors. If the manuscript is authored by someone affiliated with the editorial board, it must be reviewed by at least three external experts.

  4. Editors are required to maintain the confidentiality of the authors' personal information and ensure all identifying details are removed prior to peer review.

  5. Editors must actively check for duplicate submissions and potential plagiarism.

  6. Editors are responsible for making the final decision on the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts. The decision of the editorial board is final.
