Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 and Data Security in Operational Activities of Logistics Businesses

Abstract
The Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 is an important law for safeguarding data security in the operations of logistics businesses. To align with this act, this academic article comparing between the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562, and the Official Information Act, B.E. 2540. The study also compared the basic information of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union with the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562. This requires logistics businesses have to adjust the flow of personal data within the company along with their procedures in order to comply with the law, particularly regarding the knowledge and understanding of personal data security management processes in operational activities. Likewise, the use of technology to support operational processes will help the company create a framework for high-standard operations. Effective compliance with the personal information privacy measures results in legal compliance while allowing the logistics business to respond to market conditions and grow sustainably over the long term.
