Development of Creative Visual Arts Practice Skills by Applying Davies's Concept for Grade 2 Students

Abstract

This research aimed: 1) To Develop learning activities for Creative Visual Art Skills by Applying Davies’ Concept for Grade 2 Students with efficiency with the criterion of 80/80, 2) To study the academic achievement of Grade 2 Students who learn by Developing Creative Visual Art Skills by Applying Davies’ Concept with the criterion of 80 percent, 3) To study Creative Visual Art Skills by Applying Davies’ Concept with the criterion of 70 percent of the full score, and 4) To study the Satisfaction of Grade 2 Students toward learning Activities for Creative Visual Art Skills by Applying Davies’ Concept. The target group was 9 grade 2 students of Phon Ngam Khok Witthayakhan School, Ban Paen Sub-district, Phon Na Kaeo District, Sakon Nakhon Province. The research instruments included the learning management plan, the creative visual art skills assessment form, the academic achievement test which is a 3-choice multiple choice type, and the satisfaction questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, and percentage. The research results found that 1) the development of creative visual art skills by applying Davies’ concept for second-grade primary students was effective at 80.10/85.56. 2) The academic achievement of second-grade primary students who studied by developing creative visual art skills by applying Davies’ concept after studying was higher than the 80 percent criterion. 3) The creative visual art skills by applying Davies’ concept through developed learning activities was at 75.89 percent, which was higher than the specified criterion of 70 percent. 4) The students’ satisfaction with the development of creative visual art skills by applying Davies’ concept was overall at a very satisfactory level.
