The competencies Indicators in Information Technology for Prathomsuksa 6

Abstract
The objectives of this research were:1) to synthesis competencies Indicators in Information Technology
for Prathomsuksa 6 and 2) to confirm the factors analysis in the indicator of Technology Competency. The
research methodologies of 3 steps were: 1) literature and research review, 2) synthesize of Key
Competency Indicators in Information Technology for Prathomsuksa 6 with technical focus group by experts
in technology and education, 3) for the result of confirmatory factors analysis in the indicator of Technology
Competency. The samples of this research were: 1) educational experts were 17 people in focus group. 2)
175 teachers and education personnel who were under Kalasin Primary Educational Service Area Office 2.
The instruments used in the research were a questionnaire related to components and indicator in Information
Technology, questionnaire regarding the need of Information Technology, focus group form, questionnaire
experts estimate a 5-level and a questionnaire for assessing students. The statistics use in the research were
confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), mean and standard deviation
The results of the study were: 1) the indicator for Competencies Indicators in Information Technology for
Prathomsuksa 6 with 5 factors; basic comprehension solving problems(6 indicators), surfing the information
skills by using computer(9 indicators), stocking the useful information (9 indicators), information presentation
by using application software(15 indicators), create the expert things and responsibility by using computer(12
indicators) and 2) the confirmatory factor analysis consists of 5 factors; positive at 0.32 – 0.98, the level of
statistical significance were at .01. The factor weights from the most to the least of indicators were at .01
level of statistical significance; the information presentation by using application software was at 0.86(factor
4), surfing the information skills by using computer was at 0.85 (factor 2), create the expert things and
responsibility by using computer was at 0.80(factor 5),stocking the useful information was at 0.73 (factor 3)
andbasic comprehension solving problemswas at 0.72 (factor 1)
