A Development for Political Participation of Kalasin Citizen

Abstract
This research aimed to (1) study factors affecting political participation of Kalasin citizen, (2) formulate a development model of political participation of citizen and (3) implement and evaluate the developed model of political participation of citizen. The research procedure was divided into 3 stages. In the first stage, The researcher investigated factors which directly and indirectly affected political participation of citizen by formulating a model of political participation development as an outcome variable. Eight causal factors were used for the study. Four hundred citizen in Kalasin province were selected and participated in the study and the required data were collected by using the questionnaire, were used for analyzing of data. Structural Equation Model : SEM, LISREL for Windows with Path Analysis at the .05 level of statistical significance. In the second stage, the researcher constructed the development model of political participation of citizen by using the study result from the first stage. Thirty involved persons were participated in the workshop to co-operatively criticized and evaluated the model of political participation. In the third stage, the researcher implemented the model. After three month of implementation, the model was evaluated by 50 citizen in Ban Jomsree Yangtalad District Kalasin Province and analyzed by MANOVA (Repeated Measure) at the .05 level of statistical significance.
The major findings revealed the followings:
- The developed causal factors showed harmony with the empirical data. Three causal factors with total effects on political participation of citizen in Kalasin Province were found including 1) political interest (0.61)
2) Believe in efficiency of political (0.18) and 3) political environment (0.10) - The development model of political participation of citizen consisted of 3 causal factors 9 activities : 1) Citizen role 2) Observe activities 3) Political attitude 4) political motive 5) Political organization 6) Political Member 7) Political law 8) Political news and 9) Brain Storming
3. The Citizen in Ban Jomsree Yangtalad District Kalasin Province showed higher Learner - Centered Learning Development as a whole and in 2 aspects : service and support than before implementation of model at the .05 level of statistical significance both MANOVA (Repeated Measure).
