The Development of Training Course on Learning Management to Develop Analytical Thinking for Teachers of Mathematics Strands in Primary School

Abstract
This research aimed to develop training course on learning management to develop analytical thinking for teacher of mathematics strands in primary school. The research was divided into four steps. Step 1 Needs Analysis in training course, the sample group were 35 mathematics teachers in primary school from 8 municipal schools of Muang Roi-Et, academic year 2560 using simple random sampling techniques and research instruments were questionnaire and interview. Step 2 The development of training course, the sample group were 19 mathematics teachers of Wat Nue municipal school using purposive sampling technique and the research instrument was evaluation form. Step 3 efficiency test of the developed training course, the sample group were 25 mathematics teacher who applied for the training and the research instrument were training course, the trainer manual, trainee manual, test, and satisfaction questionnaire. Step 4 the evaluation on training course implementation, the target group were mathematics teacher who had been trained and the students who had been taught by the trained teachers and research instruments were the teaching evaluation form and the evaluation form on analytical thinking of students.
The results were as follows. 1) The data on needs analysis of mathematics teachers which were collected from document, text, questionnaire, interviewing the experts, and then were analyzed. The goals of the training course were to develop understanding and ability in teaching to develop analytical thinking. There were six units for the training course, 25 teachers were interested in attending the training course and applied to the course. 2) According to the developed training course development which was evaluated by the expert, the developed training course was suitable at the “very much” level. 3) The efficiency of the developed training course was 89.38/86.00 which was higher than the criterion set of 80/80 meanwhile the comparison between the score of the pretest and posttest of the training course, the score of posttest was higher the score of the pretest statistic significance at .05 level and the trainee were satisfied with the developed training course according to their satisfaction score was “very much” level in every items 4) According to the result of the evaluation on the developed training course, the teaching evaluation of the mathematics teachers who had been trained, the score on teaching practice as a whole were “very much” level meanwhile the result on analytical thinking of students was that the posttest score was higher than the pretest score statistic significance at.05 level.
