Model of Storytelling with Picture Activities to Development Emotional Intelligence of Preschool Children in Pre-school Children Center of Local Administration Organization

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to, 1) investigate Activities to Development Emotional Intelligence of Preschool children in Pre-school Children Center of Local Administration Organization
2) develop Emotional Intelligence of Preschool children in Pre-school Children Center of Local Administration Organization based-on Storytelling with Picture Activities, and 3) evaluate the efficiency of the developed model through implementation with 30 Preschool subjects from children in Pre-school Children Center of Local Administration Organization Nonglai village Nongkon sub-district Muang district Ubonratchathani Province. The research design of this study was the One Group Pre-test – Posttest Design. The research instruments were sets of questionnaires and behavioral observation form. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research findings were as follows : 1) For storytelling with Picture Activities to Development Emotional Intelligence of Preschool Children in Pre-school Children Center of Local Administration Organization mostly employed storytelling approach. Story book activity was mostly employed storytelling activity mostly employed and observation was also used in measurement and evaluation. 2) The developed model of storytelling with Picture. Activities to Development Emotional Intelligence of Preschool children in Pre-school children center of Local Administration Organization consisted of 4 components: 1) principles, 2) objectives, 3) instructional process, and 4) evaluation. For the instructional process it included 5 steps: creating attention, Introduction, Experiment, Co-operative and Concluding 3) The implementation of the emotion intelligence of behaviorally disordered students, after exposures to the development activities increased, significantly at .01 level.
