Abstract

The purposes of this research were : 1) to develop learning management based on applied of the  multiple intelligences  theory and cooperative learning approach in mathematics learning for Prathomsuksa 2 students, with the required efficiency of 75/75,

2) to study for the effectiveness index of learning management based on applied of the  multiple intelligences  theory and cooperative learning approach in mathematics learning, 3)  to compare the students’ achievement, analytical thinking  and  achievement motivation between before and after of learning  based on applied of the  multiple intelligences  theory and cooperative learning approach. Which operated on Research and Development methodology  with three phases for this study. The research sample for study the results of developed learning  approach was group of 27 students in Prathomsuksa 2 level, in the academic year of 2014, from WatKlang Municipality school, Muang district, KhonKaen province,  which was obtained using cluster random sampling. The research instruments used for gathering data consisted of :1)  instructional plans for mathematics learning based on applied of the  multiple intelligences  theory and cooperative learning approach in mathematics learning  with 8 plans and taken 16 hours for learning, 2) the 20 item test on learning achievement in mathematics for Prathomsuksa 2 level, 3) the 15 item test for analytic thinking of students, and  4) the 15 item scale for achievement motivation of students.  The statistics used for analysis data were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and used t-test (Dependent  sample) was employed for testing hypothesis.

The results of this study revealed  that: (1) The developed learning management based on applied of the  multiple intelligences  theory and cooperative learning approach in mathematics for Prathomsuksa 2 students was 84.56/76.85, which was higher than the established criterion of 75/75. (2) The developed learning management based on applied of the  multiple intelligences  theory and cooperative learning approach in mathematics for Prathomsuksa 2 level, revealed the effectiveness index of 0.3842, that indicated the students had learning progress of 38.42 percentage. (3) The students who learned  with applied of the  multiple intelligences  theory and cooperative learning approach in mathematics for Prathomsuksa 2 level showed higher of post learning achievement,  analytical thinking  and  achievement motivation  than before learning, at the .01 level of significance.
